Topic: Do not despise the little you have at the moment

The widow whose 2 sons the creditor showed up to take, later survived to live a debt free life with her children from just the “little pot of oil” she had in her possession with God’s intervention in 2 kings 4:1- 14. Jesus Christ our Lord fed 5,000 men and their families with several basket left over from what even his disciples despised. While on the other hand Christ gave thanks for what was available as seen in one of our text above. In 1 Samuel 17:31-51 David killed Goliath with one pebble out of five smooth stones. Notice what king Solomon said in Proverbs 13:11. EasyEnglish. If you have not received your money in an honest way, you will lose it. The man who works to get his money slowly sees it grow. Another version says. Wealth gained quickly will dwindle away, but the one who gathers it little by little will become rich. Therefore, have FAITH in God to help you grow the little you’ve started the year with. Be patient, honest and do not involve in dubious deals in haste to make it big to the top.
