Topic: Jesus is The Mediator of our New Covenant.
Text: Job 33:23; Isaiah 63:9; 1 Timothy 2:5-6
Memory Verse. 1 John 1:9 ESV. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
With overwhelming joy I remind you of these undebatable facts that there’s one God, one Mediator between God and men, that is the man Christ Jesus. He was not an angel, rather more than an angel, He was and still is the very Son of God. He did not only mediated between God and humanity but died to ransom those who believes in Him as the Truth, the Way and Life. As the truth He told humanity absolute truth about His Father our God and eternity. He equally showed man the way to His Father and eventually laid down His life to enable you and I have abundant life. He showed mankind His Father’s compassion and mercies. Through His mercy we are not consumed. Lamentations 3:22 says His mercies never come to an end. The above and several others are the benefits of having Jesus as our mediator. My dear as you go forth this week, may I remind you not to forget God’s benefits according to Psalm 103:1-5.
Hear EasyEnglish version of Hebrews 9:15 and I quote. So Christ brings a New agreement from God. Christ’s death made people free from the wrong things that they had done during the time of the first agreement. So now, the people that God chooses can receive from Him. They can receive the good things that He has promised for always.
