Gleaning life “weekly” nuggets for Rebuilding Yourself.
Topic: We’re saved to serve Him without fear
Scriptural Foundation: Luke 1:67-75; Psalm 106:7-12
Store Scripture: Micah 7:20. EasyEnglish version. You will continue to be kind to us, because we are (Jacob) Israel’s and Abraham’s people. That is what you promised to our grandfathers a long time ago
Just like that, today is last Sunday of April. We’re now counting gains and benefits of last week Easter 2019 celebration. Taking a look again at Zechariah prophecy of baby Jesus dedication narrated by Luke 1:69-75 as our subject of discussion “that we be saved from our enemies to serve God without fear”. These and several others are lists of what Christ birth, death, resurrection and ascension procured for us. The major one being death as it’s written in Ezekiel 18:20 “the soul that sinned shall die”. Make out time to check these texts. 2 Timothy 1:7 and 1 John 4:13-18.
We conclude with Zephaniah 3:15. KJVLite version. The LORD has taken away the judgments against you; he has cast (clear) out thine enemies: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see or fear evil again any more.
Folks, Christ thus saved us to enable us relate and serve our God boldly without fear in the presence of our enemies. Glory be to God.
I pray you receive the Spirit of boldness and confidence for your services to God now and always. Enjoy the week as we prepare to cross over to the month of May gloriously.
